RESOLUTION NO. 2001-150
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING FOR THE TAKING OF BIDS ON SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON
PLEASANT VALLEY DRIVE OFF GREENHILL ROAD EAST
OF BIKE TRAIL AND SOUTH OF JEHOVAH' S WITNESS
HALL, AS MAY 21, 2001, AT 5: 30 P.M. AT CITY
HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
shall meet at the City Hall Council Chambers in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 21st day of May, 2001, for the
purpose of holding a public hearing on the taking of bids on the
sale and conveyance of property generally located on Pleasant
Valley Drive off Greenhill Road east of bike trail and south of
Jehovah' s Witness Hall, legally described as follows :
Auditor Whitney Road Plat Castle Hill Waterloo Part of
Lot 32 Commencing at Northwest corner Lot 1 Homestead
Addition thence west along North line Lot 32 to westerly
corner tract a Woodland Knolls thence southwesterly to a
point that is 127 feet north of south line Lot 32 and
475. 88 feet East of West line Lot 32 thence East 195
feet thence South 127 feet to South line Lot 32 thence
East along South Line Lot 32 to Southwest corner Lot 5
Homestead Addition thence Northerly along westerly line
Homestead Addition to point of beginning except that
part described as beginning at northwest corner Lot 1
Homestead Addition thence South 270.57 feet to Southwest
corner of said Lot 1 thence West 70.50 feet thence South
54 feet thence West 265 feet thence 12 . 50 feet thence
East 25 feet thence North 07°48' 25" East 314 .22 feet
thence East 270 feet to point of beginning, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
