RESOLUTION NO. 2001-181
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SITE PLAN AMENDMENT
TO THE "M-2, P" PLANNED HEAVY INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT
3306 AIRPORT BOULEVARD.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "M-2, P"
Planned Heavy Industrial District to build a 3, 985 square foot
addition to existing building generally located at 3306 Airport
Boulevard, and legally described as follows:
Unplatted Waterloo East West 400 feet of that part
Southwest Section 4 Township 89 Range 13 commencing at
point on North line of right-of-way of Illinois Central
Railroad 60 feet East of center line of access road to
airport thence North 400 feet thence East 500 feet
thence South to North line right-of-way Illinois Central
Railroad thence West to beginning, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 7, 2001, at 5: 30
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site plan
amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the site plan amendment to the "M-2, P"
Planned Heavy Industrial District to build a 3, 985 square foot
addition to existing building generally located at 3306 Airport
Boulevard, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 2001, and approved by
the Mayor this 9thday of May, 2001 .
