RESOLUTION NO. 2001-184
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF JOHN
EVELAND TO REZONE FROM "R-2" ONE & TWO FAMILY
RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "R-3,R-P" PLANNED
MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED ALONG THE WEST SIDE OF 2600 BLOCK OF
ANSBOROUGH AVENUE, AS MAY 21, 2001, AT 5: 30
P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND
INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 21st day of May, 2001, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon an application of John Eveland to
rezone from "R-2" One & Two Family Residence District to "R-3,R-P"
Planned Multiple Residence District property generally located
along the west side of 2600 block of Ansborough Avenue to construct
an elderly housing/assisted living development and legally
described as follows:
Unplatted Waterloo West part Northeast Southeast
Section 33 Township 89 Range 13 described as follows :
beginning at Southwest corner Byrnbrae Second Addition
said point also lying on West line East 25 acres said
Northeast Southeast said point also lying on North line
South 8'f2 acres said East 25 acres thence East along
South line said Byrnbrae Second Addition 755. 85 feet
thence South 122 . 9 feet to point of curvature of a
5712 . 55 foot radius curve concave Easterly with a long
chord of 247 . 05 feet which bears South 2°18' 50" East
thence Southerly along said curve 247 . 07 feet to point
of tangency thence South 3°36' 10" East 79. 61 feet to
South line said Northeast Southeast thence West 765 .25
feet to West line said 25 acres thence North 449. 45
feet to point of beginning, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
