Compensation
Compensation for services for this project shall be a cost plus fixed fee not-to-exceed fee of Five
Thousand Dollars($5,000.00). See attached Exhibit B, Consultant Cost Summary.
General Conditions
Except as specifically amended by this Individual Project Agreement, Services shall be provided in
accordance with the Consultant Services Agreement for the Waterloo Regional Airport, entered
between AECOM Technical Services, Inc. ("ATS") and the City of Waterloo ("Client") dated
February 4, 2020.

UPDATE FAA AGIS/PART 77 SURFACES

1. Project Description
The project is described as the revision of the Airfield Guidance Sign Plan, FAA Airport's
GIS, and the Part 77 Surfaces Mapping to reflect conditions after closure of Runway 6/24.
The project will provide an updated Airfield Guidance Sign Plan to show elimination of
approximately 24 airfield guidance signs, modification to approximately six guidance signs,
elimination of runway guard lights at the intersection of Taxiway B and Runway 6/24,
modification of airfield marking on Runway 6/24, Runway 12/30, Runway 18/36, Taxiway A
and Taxiway B.
11. Scope of Services
The work to be performed by ATS shall encompass and include detailed work, services,
materials, equipmentand supplies necessaryto provide an updated Guidance Sign Plan,
updated FAA ALIS, update the Part 77 Surfaces Mapping, quality control review and
project administration. The Scope of Services is further defined by the following tasks:
1. Update Airfield Guidance Sign Plan. This task consists of updating the FAR Part
139 Airfield Guidance Sign Plan to reflect the elimination of Runway 6/24 and the
new conf iguration of Taxiway B,including revisions to and elimination of airfield
guidance signage,runway guard lights and revisions to airfield marking within the
Runway 6/24 area. Runway magnetic variation will be evaluated in accordance
with FAA Order 8260.191, Flight Procedures and Airspace. If variation exceeds 3
degrees, runway designations will be coordinated with FAA Airports Division p rior
to updating of the Airfield Guidance Sign Plan.
2. Update FAA AGIS. This task consists of updating the FAA AGIS system to refl ect
the closure of Runway 6/24 area. Create an AGIS project because this is changing
safety-critical data and revises the Airport Reference Point (ARP) location and
IFPs. Take the existing AGIS dataset for the airport, remove the Runway 6/24
features and create/submit the new dataset for the AGIS project. No field work wi I I
be required for this task.
3. Update Part 77 Surfaces Mapping. This task consists of updating the FAA
Part 77 Surfaces Mapping for the Waterloo Regional Airport to reflectthe closure of
Runway 6/24.
4. Quality Review. This task consists of the quality review of work elements on the
project. During the course of this project, quality reviews will be conducted by
senior technical personnel not directly involved in the project.
5. Project Administration. This task consists of office administration and
coordination of the project. Interoffice meetings, general day-to-day administrative
responsibilities,and typing of interoffice memoranda and minutes of meetings are
included in this task.
