RESOLUTION NO. 2001-213
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SITE PLAN AMENDMENT
TO THE "C-Z" CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICT FOR
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 2452 BURTON
AVENUE TO RELOCATE INDUSTRIAL USES ON THE SITE
TO THE NORTHERN HALF OF PROPERTY AND RETURN
SOUTHERN HALF TO RESIDENTIAL USE.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "C-Z"
Conditional Zoning District for property generally located at 2452
Burton Avenue to relocate industrial uses on the site to the
northern half of property and return southern half to residential
use, legally described as follow:
Replat West Cushman Heights Lot 1 Block 1, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 14, 2001, at 5: 30
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site plan
amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the site plan amendment to the "C-Z"
Conditional Zoning District for property generally located at 2452
Burton Avenue to relocate industrial uses on the site to the
northern half of property and return southern half to residential
use, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14t'' day of May, 2001, and approved by
the Mayor this 16th day of May, 2001 .
