RESOLUTION NO. 2001-214
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED JUST
EAST OF THE QUARRY SITE AT THE SOUTHEAST
CORNER OF BURTON AVENUE AND DONALD STREET TO
WALT TOURNIER AS JUNE 4, 2001, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN
CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 4th day of June, 2001, for the

considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and conveyarpo pret

of property generally located just east of the quarry site at the
southeast corner of Burton Avenue and Donald Street, owned by the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, to Walt Tournier, and legally described as
follows :
The North Eight (8) acres of the West Ten (10) acres of the
Northeast One-Quarter (�) of the Northwest One-Quarter ( 14) Section
14, Township 89, Range 13, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa, except the East One Hundred feet (100' ) of the North
Eight (8) acres of the West Ten (10) acres of the Northeast One-
Quarter (;1) of the Northwest One-Quarter ( -4) Section 14, Township
89, Range 13, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa;
for, $17, 952. 00, plus costs.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of May, 2001 .
