RESOLUTION NO. 2001-221
RESOLUTION ADJUSTING SIDEWALK ASSESSMENT.
WHEREAS, the East Fourth Street Corridor north of Walnut
Street in Waterloo, Iowa, is a prime candidate for economic
development; and
WHEREAS, Stanford and Associates Properties desires and has
invested in the East Fourth Street Corridor; and
WHEREAS, certain sidewalks were repaired and assessed against
Stanford and Associates Properties; and
WHEREAS, those certain sidewalk assessments were reviewed by
the Engineering Department of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
determined that some of the items assessed were related to economic
development infrastructure improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that Parcel/Control No. 55 is revised from Eleven
Thousand Sixty and 75/100 Dollars ($11, 060. 75) to Four Thousand
Five Hundred Seventy-six and 43/100 Dollars ($4, 576. 43) and
Parcel/Control No. 56 is revised from Eight Thousand Two Hundred
Sixty-five and 50/100 Dollars ($8, 265. 50) to Four Thousand Nine
Hundred Twenty-eight and 40/100 dollars ($4, 928 .40) .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of May, 2001 .
