RESOLUTION NO. 2001-265
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING AGREEMENT
WITH ST. EDWARD' S CATHOLIC CHURCH FOR
TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT EASEMENTS IN
CONJUNCTION WITH CONSTRUCTION OF TRAFFIC
SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF KIMBALL AND
MITCHELL AVENUES.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcel
described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained,
and
WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcel
is necessary to carry out the construction of traffic signals at
the intersection of Kimball and Mitchell Avenues.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the that the Temporary and Permanent
Easements, from St. Edward' s Catholic Church in conjunction with
construction of the traffic signals at the intersection of Kimball
and Mitchell Avenues, described as follows:
Temporary Easement
The West Seven (7) feet of the South Fifty (50) feet of Lot 28
of Auditor Francis Reitzel Plat, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa;
and,
Permanent Easement
The West Six (6) feet of the South Six (6) feet of Lot 28 of
Auditor Francis Reitzel Plat, all in the City of Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa;
be and the same are hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of June, 2001 .
