RESOLUTION NO. 2001-283
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF MICHAEL DENNIS
FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO.
3094 .
WHEREAS, Michael Dennis, is firing a cannon into the Cedar
River from Soldiers and Sailors Park behind Veterans Memorial Hall
during a wedding reception, and
WHEREAS, said cannon will exceed the limits of the Noise
Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Michael Dennis has made formal application for a
variance effective on June 16, 2001 at 12 : 15 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the request of Michael Dennis for a variance to
Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, in conjunction with firing a
cannon into the Cedar River from Soldiers 'and Sailors Park behind
Veterans Memorial Hall during a wedding reception on June 16, 2001
at 12 : 15 p.m. , be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of June, 2001 .
