RESOLUTION NO. 2001-293
RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ACCEPTING DEED OF
DEDICATION FROM JOHN DEERE PRODUCT ENGINEERING
CENTER FOR ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE CEDAR PRAIRIE
TRAIL/SERGEANT ROAD CONNECTION, ALL IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that Deed of Dedication, dated June 11, 2001, from John Deere
Product Engineering Center for acquisition of property in
conjunction with the Cedar Prairie Trail/Sergeant Road Connection
described as follows:
A parcel of land located in the Northeast Fraction 1/ of
Section 1, Township 88 North, Range 14 West of the Fifth
Principal Meridian, Black hawk County, State of Iowa,
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Northeast
Fractional of said Section 1; thence North 89°18' 47"
East (assumed bearing for the purpose of this feet to a
point on the present East right-of-way line of Dewitt
Road; said point being the point of beginning of the
parcel off land herein described; thence North 00°27' 22"
West on the present East right-of-way line of Dewitt
Road a distance of 31 . 00 feet; thence North 89°18' 47"
East a distance of 567 . 00 feet to the East line of the
West 600. 00 feet of the Northeast Fractional 14 of said
Section 1; thence South 00°27' 22" East on the East line
of the West 600 . 00 feet of the Northwest Fraction 1' of
said Section 1 a distance of 31 . 00 feet to the South
line of the Northeast Fraction 1/ of said Section 1 a
distance of 567 . 00 feet to the point of beginning, by
survey said parcel contains 17, 577 square feet, or 0.404
acre, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa;
be and the same is hereby accepted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of June, 2001, and approved
by the Mayor on the 13th day of June, 2001 .
