RESOLUTION NO. 2001-380
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE VACATION
OF A PORTION OF THE 20 FOOT SANITARY SEWER
AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT AND DEDICATION OF A NEW
PORTION OF AN EASEMENT GENERALLY LOCATED AT
THE NORTHERN SIDE OF 4416 REFLECTION LANE AS
AUGUST 13, 2001, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL
COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 13th day of July, 2001, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate a portion of the
20 foot sanitary sewer and drainage easement generally located at
the northern side of 4416 Reflection Lane, described as follows:
A part of Lot 5, Guernsey Park First Addition, Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Lot 5; thence
North 00°00' 48" West along the West line of said Lot 5 a
distance of 124 . 39 feet to the South line of platted
easement; thence South 66°32' 32" East a distance of
57 .70 feet; thence North 90°00' 00" East a distance of
8 . 98 feet to the point of beginning; thence North
16°36' 38" East a distance of 9.72 feet; thence South
73°23'22" East a distance of 32 .58 feet; thence South
90°00' 00" West a distance of 34 . 00 feet to the point of
beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
The West line of Lot 5 is assumed to bear North
00°00' 48" West;
and to dedicate the following described easement generally
located at the northern side of 4416 Reflection Lane, described
as follows :
A part of Lot 5, Guernsey Park First Addition, Waterloo,
Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Lot 5; thence
North 00°00' 48" West along the West line of said Lot 5 a
distance of 146. 19 feet; thence South 66°32' 32" East a
distance of 22 . 16 feet to the point of beginning; thence
South 82°02' 24" East a distance of 115. 18 feet; thence
South 90°00' 00" West a distance of 77 .31 feet; thence
North 66°32' 32" West a distance of 40. 07 feet to the
point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
The West line of Lot 5 is assumed to bear North
00°00' 48" West.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
