44 °, E- 2 WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has

c,t and the fair market value ascertained,

t7/ WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcel
is fecessary to carry out the Iowa Brownfields Acquisition project
for riverfront housing along the Cedar River,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the
parc
described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, lIowa,ealltof
which is situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
is accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to execute the saxie in behalf of the City
and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the
agreement to purchase the property from the owners thereof, and the
deed for the conveyance of the same is also accepted and approved
and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for the property and
the incidental expenses necessary to the consummation of the sale
from City funds.
The subject parcels are:
Union Planters Bank, Owner
Acquisition-$185, 000 00
Original Plat Waterloo East Lot 2 Block 22 Lot 3 Block
22 Lot 6 Block 22 Northeasterly 10 Feet Lot 7 Block 22;
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of August, 2001 .
