-.14HEREAS, VGM Group is sponsoring an educational conference in
September, and
WHEREAS, VGM Group has requested to hold a Downtown Fireworks
Display on September 7, 2001, from 9 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. in
conjunction with said educational conference, and
WHEREAS, VGM Group is requesting to temporarily close the 4th
Street Bridge from 8 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. and the 6th Street
Bridge 9 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of VGM Group to hold a
Downtown Fireworks Display on September 7, 2001, from 9 : 00 p.m. to
10 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with an educational conference and to
temporarily close the 4th Street Bridge from 8 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00
p.m. and the 6th Street Bridge 9 : 00 p.m. to 10 : 00 p.m. , be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of August, 2001 .
