G SCHOOLS TO HOLD OLYMPIKIDS FUN RUN ON
LA COO SEPTEMBER 27, 2001, IN THE CITY OF

n 0 < WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo and the Waterloo
Community Schools are planning a OlympiKids Fun Run to be
`' F; held on September 27, 2001, from 9 :45 a.m. to 12 :30 m.

with the race route beginning and ending at Lincoln Park, and
WHEREAS, said Main Street Waterloo and the Waterloo
Community Schools are requesting permission to close 4th
Street and Park Avenue from Mulberry to Jefferson Streets and
side Streets from 5th Street to 3rd Street .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street
Waterloo and the Waterloo Community Schools to conduct
OlympiKids Fun Run on September 27, 2001 starting at 9 :45
a.m. to 12 : 30 p.m. , with the race route beginning and ending
at Lincoln Park and to close 4th Street and Park Avenue from
Mulberry to Jefferson Streets and side Streets from 5th
Street to 3rd Street, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of August, 2001 .
