WHEREAS, the Public Housing Assessment System Certification
E (PHAS) for fiscal year ending 6-30-01 for Ridgeway Towers Senior
rr Citizen Apartments and FSS Family Public Housing owned and
a operated by the City of Waterloo, has been presented to and
H reviewed by the Waterloo City Council, and

WHEREAS, it is hereby determined that as of the submission
date, the Public Housing Assessment System Certification (PHAS)
indicators are true and accurate for fiscal year ending 6-30-01,
and
WHEREAS, the Waterloo City Council further certifies that,
to their present knowledge, there is no evidence to indicate
seriously deficient performance that casts doubts on the PHA' s
capacity to preserve and protect its public housing developments
and operate them in accordance with federal law and regulations .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Public Housing
Assessment System Certification (PHAS) for fiscal year ending 6-
30-01 for Ridgeway Towers Senior Citizen Apartments and FSS
Family Public Housing owned and operated by the City of Waterloo,
as presented to the Waterloo City Council, be approved, adopted
and submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development
for review and scoring.
