C) < tjr WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all the parcel tc, 0 -described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained, w and ti s CD «1 WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcel 1 .is necessary to carry out the Iowa Brownfields Acquisition Project H :for riverfront housing along the Cedar River. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcel hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of which is situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, is accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk is authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to purchase the property from the owner thereof, and the deed for the conveyance of the same is also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for the property and the incidental expenses necessary to the consummation of the sale from City funds . The subject parcel is : 820 Sycamore Street Daniel P. Redding, Owner Total Acquisition-$147, 500 . 00 Lots Nos . One (1) and Four (4) , except the Northwesterly Twenty-three and One-half (23 ) feet thereof, in Block No. One (1) , in the original plat, on the East side of the Cedar River, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Subject to the right-of-way conveyed to the Chicago Great Western Railway Company, by deed recorded in Book 44 of Town Lot Deeds, Page 587, of the records of said county, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
