RESOLUTION NO. 2001-548
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE REQUEST
OF LINCOLN SAVINGS BANK FOR A SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO THE "C-Z" CONDITIONAL ZONING
DISTRICT PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED IN LOT 2
OF TOWER PARK ADDITION FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
A NEW BANK FACILITY AS OCTOBER 15, 2001, AT
5:30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND
INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 15th day of October, 2001, for
the purpose of considering the request of Lincoln Savings Bank for
a site plan amendment to the "C-Z" Conditional Zoning District
property generally located in Lot 2 of Tower Park Addition for the
development of a new bank facility, legally described as follows:
Lot No. 2 in Tower Park, Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, except the following described parcel :
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot No. 2;
thence North 89°03' 48" West along the North line of
said Lot 92 . 00 feet; thence South 00°56' 12" West 100. 00
feet; thence South 89°03' 48" East 92. 00 feet to the
East line of said Lot No. 2; thence North 00°56' 12"
East along the East line of said Lot 100. 00 feet to the
point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
and, also
A part of the vacated part of West San Marnan Drive
right-of-way adjacent to said Lot No. 2, in the
Northeast Quarter of Section No. 9, Township No. 88
North, Range No. 13 West of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot No. 2;
thence North 00°56' 12" East 20. 00 feet; thence South
89°03' 48" East parallel with the North line of said Lot
No. 2 258 . 97 feet; thence South 00°56' 12" West 20. 00
feet to the North line of said Lot No. 2; thence North
89°03' 48" West along the North line of said Lot No. 2
258 . 97 feet to the point of beginning, all in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
The North line of said Lot No. 2 is assumed to bear
North 89°03' 48" West.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
