RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE REQUEST
OF K-LINE ENTERPRISES, INC, ON THE PROPOSED
SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "R-3 , R-P" PLANNED
RESIDENCE DISTRICT FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED NORTHWESTERLY OF WEST 4TH STREET
BETWEEN WINGHAVEN DRIVE AND KIMPSTON CIRCLE
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE EKHO RIDGE
CONDOMINIUM DEVELOPMENT, AS OCTOBER 22 , 2001,
AT 5 : 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS AND
INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5 :30 p.m. on the 22nd day of October, 2001,
for the purpose of considering the request of K-Line Enterprises,
Inc . , on the proposed site plan amendment to the "R-3 ,R-P" Planned
Residence District for property generally located northwesterly of
West 4th Street between Winghaven Drive and Kimpston Circle in
conjunction with the Ekho Ridge Condominium Development, and
legally described as follows :
That part of the East One-half (E%) of Section Seven
(7) , Township Eighty-eight North (T88N) , Range Thirteen
West (R13W) of the Fifth Principal Meridian, City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa described as follows :
Beginning at the Southwesterly corner of Timberline
Patio Homes Condominium; thence Westerly along the
Southerly line of said Timberline Patio Homes extended,
to a point which is Three Hundred Seventy (370) feet
Northwesterly of and normally distant from the
Southwesterly extension of the Northwesterly line of
said Timberline Patio Homes; thence Southwesterly
parallel with said Northwesterly line of Timberline
Patio Homes Three-hundred Fifty-two and Forty-eight
Hundredths (352 .48) feet to a point which is Thirty
(30) feet normally distant from and Southwesterly of a
line drawn from the intersection point of the
centerlines of U. S . Highway No. 63 and Ranchero Road to
the intersection point of the centerlines of West
Fourth Street and Winghaven Drive, said line being
called the centerline of "Ranchero Road Extension" ;
thence Southeasterly Six Hundred Ninety-three and
Twenty-two Hundredths (693 .22) feet parallel with said
"Ranchero Road Extension" to a line which is parallel
to and Three Hundred Fifty-four and Sixty-nine
Hundredths (354 . 69) feet Northwest of the Northwesterly
line of West Fourth Street; thence Southwesterly,
parallel to said West Fourth Street Two Hundred Sixteen
(216) feet to a line which is parallel to and Two
Hundred Forty-six (246) feet Southwest of said
"Ranchero Road Extension" ; thence Three Hundred Fifty-
four and Sixty-nine Hundredths (354 . 69) feet
Southeasterly, parallel to said "Ranchero Road
Extension" Three Hundred Fifty-four and Sixty-nine
Hundredths (354 . 69) feet to the Northwesterly line of
West Fourth Street; thence Northeasterly One Thousand
Two Hundred Ninety-five and Ninety-five Hundredths
(1, 295 . 95) feet along said Northwesterly line to the
