RESOLUTION NO. 2001-585
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE "C-Z" CONDITIONAL
ZONING DISTRICT SITE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR
LINCOLNS SAVINGS BANK FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED ON LOT 2 OF TOWER PARK ADDITION.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a "C-Z" Conditional Zoning District site
plan amendment for Lincoln Savings Bank, property generally
located on Lot 2 of Tower Park Addition and legally described as
follows:
Lot No. 2 in Tower Park, Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa, except the following described parcel:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot No. 2;
thence North 89°03' 48" West along the North line of
said Lot 92 . 00 feet; thence South 00°56' 12" West 100. 00
feet; thence South 89°03' 48" East 92 . 00 feet to the
East line of said Lot No. 2; thence North 00°56' 12"
East along the East line of said Lot 100 . 00 feet to the
point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa;
and, also
A part of the vacated part of West San Marnan Drive
right-of-way adjacent to said Lot No. 2, in the
Northeast Quarter of Section No. 9, Township No. 88
North, Range No. 13 West of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described
as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot No. 2;
thence North 00°56' 12" East 20 . 00 feet; thence South
89°03' 48" East parallel with the North line of said Lot
No. 2 258 . 97 feet; thence South 00°56' 12" West 20 . 00
feet to the North line of said Lot No. 2; thence North
89°03' 48" West along the North line of said Lot No. 2
258 . 97 feet to the point of beginning, all in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
The North line of said Lot No. 2 is assumed to bear
North 89°03' 48" West .
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on October 15, 2001, at
5: 30 p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as
provided by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on
the proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment,
and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the "C-Z" Conditional Zoning District
site plan amendment for Lincoln Savings Bank, property generally
located on Lot 2 of Tower Park Addition, be and the same is hereby
approved.
