Hi tri t-' WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo is planning a holiday para ;. in conjunction with the "Downtown Lights the Night" Event On Saturday, December 1, 2001 from 5: 00 p.m. to 8 : 00 p.m. , and WHEREAS, Main Street Waterloo is requesting that they be authorized to conduct said holiday parade and other events at various downtown locations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Main Street Waterloo to conduct annual lighted holiday parade beginning at parking area under Highway 218 and 4th Street, 4th Street to Mulberry Street, Mulberry Street to 5th Street, 5th Street back to parking area under Highway 218 viaduct, and various other events along 4th Street, 5th Street, Park Avenue and Soldier' s and Sailors Park in conjunction with the "Downtown Lights the Night" Event on Saturday, December 1, 2001 from 5:00 p.m. to 8 : 00 p.m. , be and the same is hereby approved.
