WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcels i`s' <necessary to carry out the Iowa Brownfields Acquisition project for riverfront housing along the Cedar River, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcels hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of which are situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, are accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to purchase the properties from the owners thereof, and the deeds for the conveyance of the same are also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for the properties and the incidental expenses necessary to the consummation of the sales from City funds. The subject parcel is: Parcel No. Southwest Corner of Sycamore Street and East 8th Street Doris Ruffridge, Owner Partial Acquisition-$50, 000. 00 Original Plat Waterloo East Lot 1 Block 22 Lot 4 Block 22, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
