WHEREAS, Black Hawk County Emergency Management has reviewed
m the early warning system in the City of Waterloo, and

WHEREAS, in order to increase coverage in existing
residential and newly developed residential areas in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County Emergency Management is recommending
installation of early warning sirens on Highway 63 North, Highway
218 South and West Fourth Street near Shaulis Road, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo has
reviewed and approved the proposed locations for new early
warning sirens at an estimated cost of $54, 000 . 00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that installation of early warning sirens
on Highway 63 North, Highway 218 South and West Fourth Street
near Shaulis Road, at an estimated cost of $54, 000. 00, be and the
same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of December, 2001 .
