RESOLUTION NO. 2000-14
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE
VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE OF STREETS
GENERALLY LOCATED IN CEDAR HILLS TO SOUTHVIEW
ESTATES AS FEBRUARY 7, 2000, AT 7 : 00 P.M. IN
CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA
AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS :
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 7th day of February, 2000, for the
purpose of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell
and convey to Southview Estates streets generally located in Cedar
Hills, and legally described as follows :
Marigold Drive from the East line of Southdale Addition
northerly to the southerly line of Carnation Drive and
Carnation Drive from the northerly line of Memory Lane
northerly and westerly to the cul-de-sac and Memory
Lane from the southerly line of Marigold Drive
southerly and easterly to the westerly line of
Carnation Drive, as extended, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $1 . 00, plus costs .
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this loth day of January, 2000 .
