RESOLUTION NO. 2000-23
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ESTIMATED
COST, ETC. , IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ASBESTOS
REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL, RATH VERTICAL KILL
BUILDING, CDBG-112-AR-1-18-00 .
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
heretofore instructed the Contract Compliance Officer of said City
to prepare proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. ,
for the Asbestos Removal and Disposal, Rath Vertical Kill
Building, CDBG-112-AR-1-18-00, in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, and
WHEREAS, said Contract Compliance Officer did file said
preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc. , for the
Asbestos Removal and Disposal, Rath Vertical Kill Building, CDBG-
112-AR-1-18-00, which were preliminarily approved on January 10,
2000, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on January
18, 2000, and no objections were made.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that said proposed plans, specifications, form of
contract and bond, etc. , for the Asbestos Removal and Disposal,
Rath Vertical Kill Building, CDBG-112-AR-1-18-00, in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, be, and the same are hereby, approved as filed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of January, 2000 .
