RESOLUTION NO. 2000-33
RESOLUTION APPROVING COMMUNITY ECONOMIC
BETTERMENT (CEBA) AGREEMENT WITH THE IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Community Economic Betterment (CEBA) Agreement dated
January 18, 2000 for a loan to GMAC in the amount of $360, 000 . 00
($180, 000 . 00 forgivable loan and $180, 000 . 00 at zero interest for
five years) , by and between Iowa Department of Economic
Development, and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor authorized to execute the same in
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of January, 2000 .
