RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF FIRE CHIEF TO
SUBMIT APPLICATIONS WITH THE STATE OF IOWA
AND DUBUQUE RACING ASSOCIATION, LTD FOR TWO
GRANTS EACH IN THE AMOUNT OF $6, 800 . 00 .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the request of Fire Chief to submit an application with the
State of Iowa for certification money in the amount of $6, 800 . 00,
with a required match of $3, 400 . 00 and an application with Dubuque
Racing Association, LTD in the amount of $6, 800 . 00, in conjunction
with purchasing two AED' s (Automatic External Defibrillators) , be
and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of January, 2000 .
