RESOLUTION NO. 2021-548 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ASSIGNMENT OF REBATES TO JSA DEVELOPMENT, LLC, IN CONJUNCTION WITH A DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH 3 LITTLE LAMBS, LLC, ORIGINALLY APPROVED ON APRIL 20, 2015 AS MODIFIED BY AMENDMENTS DATED MAY 16, 2016 AND SEPTEMBER 26, 2016, FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1827 BLACK HAWK STREET, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT. WHEREAS, 3 Little Lambs entered into a Development Agreement, originally approved April 20, 2015 and modified by amendments May 16, 2016 and September 26, 2016, with the City of Waterloo, for the development of property located at 1827 Black Hawk Street, and WHEREAS, the developer was given tax rebates for the added value of the project, and WHEREAS, the property has been sold and the Development Agreement states that assignment of tax rebates is eligible and that the Assignment of Rebates will allow the new owner, JSA Development, LLC to receive the tax rebates. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the Assignment of Rebates for properties located at 1827 Black Hawk Street, to JSA Development, LLC, are hereby approved. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August 2021.
