RESOLUTION NO. 2021-533 RESOLUTION APPROVING VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE REQUEST FROM CHRIS KREMER ON BEHALF OF UNI/GALLAGHER BLUEDORN, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE LIBERTY PARK NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY, TO BE HELD ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 26, 2021, FROM 2:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. AT MORRIS PARK, INCLUDING A LIVE BAND WITH AN OUTDOOR PA SYSTEM. WHEREAS, Chris Kremer, on behalf of UNI/Gallagher Bluedorn, is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on September 26, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Morris Park, in conjunction with the Liberty Park Neighborhood Block Party, including a live band and use of a PA system, together with the recommendation and approval of the Captain of Police Services, and WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Chris Kremer, on behalf of UNI/Gallagher Bluedorn, for a variance to the Noise Ordinance, on Sunday, September 26, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Morris Park, in conjunction with the Liberty Park Neighborhood Block Party, including a live band and use of a PA system, is hereby approved.
