RESOLUTION NO. 2021-541
RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS, BID
DOCUMENT, ETC. AND SETTING DATE OF BID OPENING
AS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2021 AND DATE OF
PUBLIC HEARING AS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2021 FOR
THE PURCHASE OF ONE (1) 2021 OR NEWER, COMPACT
TRACK MINI EXCAVATOR, FOR THE TRAFFIC
OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, bid documents, etc., in conjunction
with the purchase of one (1) 2021 or newer, Compact Track Mini Excavator, for the Traffic
Operations Department, are hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the purchase of one (1) 2021 or
newer, Compact Track Mini Excavator, for the Traffic Operations Department, be scheduled for
September 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m., City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet at 5:30 p.m. on the 7th
day of September 2021, to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the purchase of one (1)
2021 or newer, Compact Track Mini Excavator, for the Traffic Operations Department.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
