RESOLUTION NO. 2021-543
RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., SETTING
DATE OF BID OPENING AS SEPTEMBER 16, 2021, AND
PUBLIC HEARING AS SEPTEMBER 20, 2021, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FIVE SULLIVAN BROTHERS
CONVENTION CENTER PLAZA RENOVATION PROJECT,
AND INSTRUCT THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the preliminary plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in
conjunction with the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center Plaza Renovation Project, are
hereby approved.
Section 2. That the bid opening, in conjunction with the Five Sullivan Brothers
Convention Center Plaza Renovation Project, be scheduled for September 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.,
City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa.
Section 3. That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, meet in the Harold E. Getty
Council Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 20th day of September 2021,
to hold a public hearing, in conjunction with the Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center Plaza
Renovation Project.
Section 4. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish notice of the time and place
of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
