RESOLUTION NO. 2021-544
RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, ETC., AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SERVICES CONTRACT NO. AB-
2021-08-5P AT 200 MERRIMAN STREET, 1027 SYCAMORE
STREET, 325 W. 13TH STREET, 321 W. 6TH STREET, AND
742 GRANT AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, heretofore instructed the
City Community Planning and Development Director of said City to prepare and file
specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction the Asbestos Abatement Services Contract
No. AB-2021-08-5P at 200 Merriman Street, 1027 Sycamore Street, 325 W. 13th Street, 321 W.
6th Street, and 742 Grant Avenue, and
WHEREAS, said City Community Planning and Development Director did file said
plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the Asbestos Abatement Services
Contract No. AB-2021-08-5P at 200 Merriman Street, 1027 Sycamore Street, 325 W. 13th Street,
321 W. 6th Street, and 742 Grant Avenue, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing, upon notice, was held on August 16, 2021.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that it is deemed advisable and necessary and it is so ordered on motion
by this Council that said plans, specifications, form of contract, etc., in conjunction with the
Asbestos Abatement Services Contract No. AB-2021-08-5P at 200 Merriman Street, 1027
Sycamore Street, 325 W. 13th Street, 321 W. 6th Street, and 742 Grant Avenue, are hereby
approved, and said project proceed in accordance with said specifications.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of August 2021.
