RESOLUTION NO. 2000-146 RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF NATIONAL CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS WEEK PLANNING COMMITTEE TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE 4TH STREET BRIDGE ON APRIL 14, 2000 IN CONJUNCTION WITH A COMMUNITY VIGIL TO BE HELD IN OBSERVANCE OF THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF NATIONAL CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS WEEK. WHEREAS, the Community Vigil in observance of the 20th Anniversary of National Crime Victims' Rights Week will be held on Friday, April 14, 2000, from 6: 00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. , and WHEREAS, in conjunction with the Community Vigil to be held in observance of the 20th Anniversary of the National Crime Victims Rights Week, the Nation Crime Victims' Rights Week Planning Committee has requested to temporarily close both sides of the 4th Street Bridge from 4 : 00 p.m. to 10: 00 p.m. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request to temporarily close the 4th Street Bridge on April 14, 2000 between 4 : 00 p.m. and 10 : 00 p.m. in conjunction with Community Vigil to be held in observance of the 20t" Anniversary of National Crime Victims' Rights Week, be and the same is hereby approved.
