RESOLUTION NO. 2000-161
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF MARCH OF DIMES
BIRTH DEFECT FOUNDATION TO HOLD ANNUAL MARCH
OF DIMES WALKAMERICA ON MAY 6, 2000.
WHEREAS, the March of Dimes Birth Defect Foundation is
planning to hold its annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica on May 6,
2000 starting at 9: 00 a.m. and ending around 11 : 30 a.m. , and
WHEREAS, the March of Dimes Birth Defect Foundation has
requested that its annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica to be held on
May 6, 2000 be allowed to have the race route to begin and end at
Central Middle School .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the March of Dimes
Birth Defect Foundation to hold annual March of Dimes WalkAmerica
on May 6, 2000 starting at 9: 00 a.m. and ending around 11 : 30 a.m. ,
with the race route to begin and end at Central Middle School, be
and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April, 2000.
