RESOLUTION NO. 2000-162
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF CEDAR VALLEY
MEDICAL SPECIALISTS TO HOLD A 5K-10K RUN/WALK
FOR HEAD AND NECK CANCER AWARENESS ON APRIL
22, 2000.
WHEREAS, the Cedar Valley Medical Specialists are planning to
hold a 5K-10K Run/Walk for Head and Neck Cancer Awareness on April
22, 2000 starting at 8 : 00 a.m. and ending at 11 : 00 a.m. , and
WHEREAS, the Cedar Valley Medical Specialists have requested
that a 5K-10K Run/Walk for Head and Neck Cancer Awareness be
allowed to have the race route to begin and end at Central Middle
School .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of the Cedar Valley
Medical Specialists to a 5K-10K Run/Walk for Head and Neck Cancer
Awareness on April 22, 2000 starting at 8 : 00 a.m. and ending at
11 : 00 a.m. , with the race route to begin and end at Central Middle
School, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April, 2000.
