RESOLUTION NO. 2000-174
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SITE
PLAN AMENDMENT TO THE "M-2, P" PLANNED
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT TO USE A PORTION OF
GREYHOUND PARK FOR A PARABOUNCE BALLOON RIDE,
AS MAY 1, 2000, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL
CHAMBERS AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH
NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 1st day of May, 2000, for the
purpose of considering the request of John Hospaodarsky for a
proposed Site Plan amendment to the "M-2, P" Planned Industrial
District to use a portion of Greyhound Park for a parabounce
balloon ride, and legally described as follows:
The Northeast of the Southwest of Section 6 Township
88 Range 13 : also, part of the Northwest of the
Southeast of said section described as follows;
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northwest 14 of
the Southeast 1K4, thence East 100 feet along the
Northerly line of the Northwest 1/ of the Southeast ',I,
thence 1069. 31 feet along a line parallel with the
westerly line of the Northwest of the Southeast to
the beginning of a curve concave northeasterly having a
radius of 686. 62 feet, thence Southeasterly 259. 10 feet
along said curve to a point on the Southerly line of the
Northwest of the Southeast 1' which point is 148 . 31
feet Easterly from the Southwest corner of the Northwest
1/ of the Southeast 14, thence West 148 .31 feet, thence
North 1322 .37 feet to the point of beginning, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
