RESOLUTION NO. 2000-197
RESOLUTION GRANTING PERMISSION TO WATERLOO
MEMORIAL BOARD TO HOLD ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY
PARADE ON MAY 29, 2000.
WHEREAS, the Waterloo Memorial Board has made written
application to the City Council asking that they be authorized and
permitted to hold annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 29,
2000, and
WHEREAS, the parade will start at 10: 30 a.m. on Commercial
Street between 5th and 6th Streets, west to Park Avenue, north to
Mulberry Street, east to East 5th Street, and south to Memorial
Hall, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA that permission is hereby granted to
Waterloo Memorial Board to hold annual Memorial Day Parade on May
29, 2000 beginning at 10: 30 a.m. on Commercial Street between 5th
and 6th Streets, west to Park Avenue, north to Mulberry Street, east
to East 5th Street, and south to Memorial Hall .
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of April, 2000.
