RESOLUTION NO. 2000-215
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE "M-2, P PLANNED
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT SITE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR
JOHN HOSPAODARSKY FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED AT THE GREYHOUND PARK.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a "M-2, P" Planned Industrial District site
plan amendment for John Hospaodarsky, generally located at
Greyhound Park and legally described as follows:
The Northeast of the Southwest 1/ of Section 6 Township
88 Range 13: also, part of the Northwest of the
Southeast 44 of said section described as follows;
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northwest of
the Southeast 1/, thence East 100 feet along the
Northerly line of the Northwest of the Southeast '1,
thence 1069.31 feet along a line parallel with the
westerly line of the Northwest of the Southeast to
the beginning of a curve concave northeasterly having a
radius of 686. 62 feet, thence Southeasterly 259. 10 feet
along said curve to a point on the Southerly line of the
Northwest of the Southeast which point is 148 . 31
feet Easterly from the Southwest corner of the Northwest
of the Southeast 11, thence West 148 .31 feet, thence
North 1322 .37 feet to the point of beginning, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 1, 2000, at 5: 30
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site plan
amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the "M-2, P" Planned Industrial District
site plan amendment for John Hospaodarsky for property generally
located at Greyhound Park, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of May, 2000, and approved by
the Mayor this 3rd day of May, 2000.
