RESOLUTION NO. 2000-240
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF ROSE HILL
CHURCH OF GOD FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE ORDINANCE,
ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .
WHEREAS, Rose Hill Church of God, 800 Broadway Street, is
having a church choir and church band performing within the city
limits of the City of Waterloo in conjunction with an outdoor
carnival, and
WHEREAS, said choir and church band operations exceed the
limits of the Noise Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said Rose Hill Church of God, 800 Broadway Street,
has made formal application for a variance effective from 10: 00
a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13, 2000 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the request of Rose Hill Church of God, 800
Broadway Street, for a variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise
Ordinance in conjunction with a church choir and church band
performing within the city limits of the City of Waterloo at an
outdoor carnival effective from 10: 00 a.m. to 3: 00 p.m. on
Saturday, May 13, 2000 be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of May, 2000.
