RESOLUTION NO. 2000-244
RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH
MIDAMERICAN ENERGY CO. AND DIRECTING EXECUTION
OF SAID AGREEMENT BY MAYOR PRO TEM.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Agreement dated May 8, 2000 for the relocation of a high
pressure 12-inch gas main at a cost of $30, 000. 00, with the city' s
share of $6, 000. 00, in conjunction with Martin Luther King Jr.
Drive Project, STP-U-8155 (34) -70-07, Contract No. 556, by and
between MidAmerican Energy Company and the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
be and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor Pro Tem
authorized to execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of May, 2000 .
