RESOLUTION NO. 2000-264
RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF PETERSON
CONTRACTORS, INC. FOR VARIANCE TO NOISE
ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 3094 .
WHEREAS, Peterson Contractors, Inc. is performing work within
the city limits of the City of Waterloo in conjunction with F.Y.
2000 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive-Phase IV and V, Contract No. 556,
and
WHEREAS, said company' s operations exceed the limits of the
Noise Ordinance, Ordinance No. 3094, and
WHEREAS, said company has made formal application for a
variance effective from May 16, 2000 to November 1, 2000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA that the request of Peterson Contractors, Inc. for a
variance to Ordinance No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, effective from May
16, 2000 to November 1, 2000 in conjunction with F.Y. 2000 Martin
Luther King Jr. Drive-Phase IV and V, Contract No. 556, be and the
same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of May, 2000.
