RESOLUTION NO. 2000-281
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE "S-1" SHOPPING CENTER
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT SITE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR
ALBERTSON' S INC. FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF KIMBALL AND
RIDGEWAY AVENUES.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a "S-1" Shopping Center Commercial District
site plan amendment for Albertson' s Inc. , generally located at the
southwest corner of Kimball and Ridgeway Avenues and legally
described as follow:
The East 200 feet of Lot No. 23 in Southgate, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on May 8, 2000, at 5: 30
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site plan
amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the "S-1" Shopping Center Commercial
District site plan amendment for Albertson' s Inc. , generally
located at the southwest corner of Kimball and Ridgeway Avenues, be
and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of May, 2000, and approved by
the Mayor this 24th day of May, 2000.
