RESOLUTION NO. 2000-283
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE VACATION
OF THE SIXTEEN FOOT SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT
GENERALLY LOCATED ALONG THE SOUTHERN BOUNDARY
OF LOT 23 IN SOUTHGATE ADDITION AS JUNE 5,
2000, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN CITY HALL COUNCIL
CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND INSTRUCTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 5th day of June, 2000, for the purpose of
considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate the sixteen foot
sanitary sewer easement generally located along the southern
boundary of Lot 23 in Southgate Addition, legally described as
follows:
The North Sixteen (16) feet of the South One Hundred
Fifty (150) feet of the East Two Hundred (200) feet of
Lot No. Twenty-three (23) in Southgate, all in the City
of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of May, 2000.
