RESOLUTION NO. 2000-350
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MINOR SITE PLAN
AMENDMENT FOR FLOWERAMA FOR PROPERTY GENERALLY
LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF KIMBALL AND
RIDGEWAY AVENUES TO BUILD A 10' X 20' FREEZER
ADDITION ONTO THE WESTERN SIDE OF THE
BUILDING.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, approve a minor site plan amendment for Flowerama
for property generally located at the northwest corner of Kimball
and Ridgeway Avenues to build a 10' x 20' freezer addition on the
western side of the building, and legally described as follows :
Unplatted Waterloo East part Northeast Northeast
Section 8 Township 89 Range 13 described as follows :
Commencing at Northeast corner said quarter thence West
634 . 01 feet along North line said quarter thence South
100 feet to point of beginning thence South 97 . 86 feet
thence West 119. 56 feet to building corner thence South
3 . 82 feet along building thence West 155. 36 feet along
building to 5 feet beyond thence North 99. 72 feet to
right-of-way line thence East 274 . 93 feet along said
right-of-way to point of beginning subject to easement
as described in Land Deed Book 560 Page 777, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, due to the insignificant nature of said minor site
plan amendment, the Council did not deem it necessary to hold a
public hearing, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said minor
site plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the minor site plan amendment for for
Flowerama for property generally located at the northwest corner of
Kimball and Ridgeway Avenues to build a 10' x 20' freezer addition
on the western side of the building, be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of June, 2000, and approved
by the Mayor this 28th day of June, 2000.
