RESOLUTION NO. 2000-357
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF PRAIRIE
CONSTRUCTION CO. , INC. TO TEMPORARILY CLOSE 3RD
STREET BETWEEN LAFAYETTE STREET AND SYCAMORE
AVENUE AND TO USE PORTIONS OF THE ALLEY AND
APPROXIMATELY 16 PARKING SPACES ALONG NORTH
SIDE OF THE BUILDING.
WHEREAS, Prairie Construction Co. , Inc. has requested
permission to close 3rd Street between Lafayette Street and Sycamore
Avenue and to use portions of the alley and approximately 16
parking spaces along the north side of the building beginning on
July 10, 2000, in conjunction with the U. S. West Radio Tower
Removal Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that Prairie Construction Co. , Inc. , be hereby
authorized to close 3rd Street between Lafayette Street and Sycamore
Avenue and to use portions of the alley and approximately 16
parking spaces along the north side of the building beginning on
July 10, 2000, in conjunction with the U.S. West Radio Tower
Removal Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26t'' day of June, 2000.
