RESOLUTION NO. 2000-401 RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF ERIC JOHNSON ON BEHALF OF DAVID AND STEPHANIE LECOMPTE TO REZONE FROM "R-1" RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "R-1, C-Z" CONDITIONAL RESIDENCE DISTRICT PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED BEHIND PLATT' S AND K-MART ON UNIVERSITY AVENUE BETWEEN SOUTH HACKETT ROAD AND PROGRESS AVENUE, AS AUGUST 21, 2000, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING. WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo, Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 21dt day of August, 2000, for the ur of considering and acting upon an application of Eric John on ose behalf of David and Stephanie LeCompte to rezone from "R-1" Residence District TO "R-1, C-Z" Conditional Residence District property generally located behind Platt' s and K-Mart on University Avenue between South Hackett Road and Progress Avenue and legally described as follows : That part of the Northeast Quarter of Section No. 20, Township No. 89 North, Range No. 13 West of the Fifth Principal Meridian, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot No. 1 in Forest Hill Subdivision, said point also lying on the South line of Westbourne Terrace 4th Addition; thence North 89°22' 00" West 732 . 65 feet along said South line to the Southeast corner of Lot No. 126 in Westbourne Terrace 2nd Addition; thence South 0°10' 30" West 239. 81 feet; thence North 89°21' 10" West 249. 91 feet to a point on the East line of Lot No. 60 in Oak Park Addition; thence South 0°10' 30" West 694 .29 feet along the East line of said Oak Park Addition and Cedarloo Park to a point on the East line of Lot No. W-115 which is 20 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Lot No. W-115, said point previously being described as 732 feet North of the Southeasterly corner of Lot No. 30 in Centennial Addition; thence South 89°33' 40" East previously described as South 89°22' East 985. 86 feet to a point on the West line of Lot No. 10 in Forest Hill Subdivision which is 68.56 feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot No. 10; thence North 0°01' 50" West 930. 72 feet to the point of beginning, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo Courier.
