RESOLUTION NO. 2000-416
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING AND NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE SALE AND
CONVEYANCE OF A PORTION OF PROPERTY GENERALLY
ABUTTING 608-610 MARTIN ROAD TO MEROL
WERSINGER AS AUGUST 14, 2000, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN
CITY HALL COUNCIL CHAMBERS, WATERLOO, IOWA AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE
NOTICE OF HEARING.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 5: 30 p.m. on the 14th day of August, 2000, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to sell and convey a
portion of property generally abutting 608-610 Martin Road owned by
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to Merol Wersinger, and legally
described as follows :
That part of the Northeast Quarter (NE1.4) of Section
Thirty-three (33) , Township Eight-nine North (T89N) ,
Range Thirteen West (R13W) of the Fifth Principal
Meridian, City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of Martin Road
which is One Hundred Eighty and Four Tenths (180. 4) feet
West of the West line of Muncy Avenue; thence North
Ninety-one and Sixty-nine Hundredths (91 . 69) feet to a
point which is One Hundred Seventy-seven and Sixty-four
Hundredths (177 . 64) feet West of the West line of said
Muncy Avenue (as measured parallel with Martin Road) ;
thence West parallel with said Martin Road Seven (7. 00)
feet; thence South Ninety-one and Sixty-nine Hundredths
(91 . 69) feet to the North line of said Martin Road;
thence East Seven (7 . 00) feet to the point of beginning,
all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa;
for $250. 00, plus costs.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24th day of July, 2000.
