RESOLUTION NO. 2000-426
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF JERRY
GASS OF PERFORMANCE CARBIDE TO REZONE FROM "C-
2" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "C-2, C-Z"
CONDITIONAL ZONING PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED
AT 925 BLACK HAWK ROAD, AS AUGUST 14, 2000, AT
5: 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL
AND INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE
OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 14th day of August, 2000, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon an application of Jerry Gass of
Performance Carbide to rezone from "C-2" Commercial District to "C-
2, C-Z" Conditional Zoning property generally located at 925 Black
Hawk Road and legally described as follows :
Unplatted Waterloo West, part of Southwest quarter of
Northwest quarter, Section 27, Township 89 North, Range
13 West, described as commencing at a point 104 . 30 feet
East of Northeast corner Lot 17 Auditors Plat of part
of Meadowdale thence South 555 feet thence
Northeasterly to a point that is 110 feet East and 517
feet South of point of beginning thence North 517 feet;
thence West 110 feet to point of beginning, all in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
