RESOLUTION NO. 2000-437
RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF BRYAN
NICHOLS, GIL CUMMINGS AND DONNA AND VERN
NELSON TO REZONE FROM "M-2" HEAVY INDUSTRIAL
DISTRICT TO "C-2" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE INTERSECTION OF
WESTFIELD AVENUE AND COMMERCIAL STREET, AS
AUGUST 28, 2000, AT 5: 30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL
CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND INSTRUCTING CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa, at 5: 30 p.m. on the 28th day of August, 2000, for the purpose
of considering and acting upon an application of Bryan Nichols, Gil
Cummings and Donna and Vern Nelson to rezone from "M-2" Heavy
Industrial District to "C-2" Commercial District property generally
located at the intersection of Westfield Avenue and Commercial
Street and legally described as follows :
James Eggers Addition all Lots 1 and 2 Block 4 all Lot 3
Block 4 except Southwest 5 feet all Lot 4 Block 4 except
Southwest 5 feet all Lot 5 Block 4 except Southwest 5
feet and except city on North also part Lot 26 Auditor' s
Falls Ave and Mullan Ave Plat lying Northeasterly of an
extension Northwesterly of Northeasterly line of
Southeasterly 5 feet of Lots 3, 4 and 5 Bock 4 James
Eggers Addition, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
