RESOLUTION NO. 2000-443
RESOLUTION AMENDING CITY POLICY WHICH ALLOWS
POLICE OFFICERS TO KEEP DUTY WEAPON UPON
RETIREMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that City Policy which allows 24 year Police Officers to keep
his/her duty weapon upon retirement, be and the same hereby amended
to allow any Police Chief with ten years of tenure with the City of
Waterloo to keep his/her duty weapon if the City has received
donations sufficient to cover the value of said weapon by his/her
last day of employment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of August, 2000 .
