RESOLUTION NO. 2000-453
RESOLUTION APPROVING REQUEST OF CHARLES
PEARSON TO CLOSE ADAMS STREET AND WENDELL
COURT IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SUMMER TIME
GROOVE EVENT AT SULLIVAN PARK.
WHEREAS, Charles Pearson has requested permission to close
Adams Street and Wendell Court on August 19, 2000 from 1 : 00 p.m. to
7 : 00 p.m. , in conjunction with the Summer Time Groove event at
Sullivan Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that Charles Pearson, be hereby granted
authorization to hold Summer Time Grove event at Sullivan Park on
August 19, 2000 from 1 : 00 p.m. to 7 : 00 p.m. and the Police
Department authorized to close Adams Street and Wendell Court for
said event.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of August, 2000.
